Rachel-WHOA! That is crazy! I don't think it is a KC person but maybe...it's from her tumblr. Thanks for telling me! I'll give credit where much credit is due. :) Hope you're doing well my coast-dwelling friend!
this reminds me of the elderly residents at lakeview village we used to play cards with on thursday or friday nights. they were the only group that played a game called "shang hai" that i used to play with my grandparents. it's kinda like gin rummy, only more complicated.
Dave-That's awesome! Adam and I really want to start doing something like that...maybe you can show us the ropes! p.s. I saw your post about monkey bars in your backyard?! Those were my fave! haha.
Terri-ha! Okay! I mean, I like older people a LOT more than I like cards...but I really like YOU so I'd say it evens out. ;) Plus, Adam dominates at chess so I need something to compete. haha.
I'm so relieved, we can still be friends!! And if we're in the same city when we're in our 60s/70s, I'd love to be in a cheering/dancing group together. Or a choir. Or, you know, friends who go on walks. Really anything would be fine. :)
